When installing new brake pads we recommend this tool to push the pistons back in to the calipers. Using pliers or channel locks can damage pistons edge, or tilt them in the bores creating scratches and potentially leads.

These ratcheting spreaders fit most 4 and 6 piston calipers to safely push back your pistons for maintenance.
